Euro Athletes Academy Last updated: 17 August 2026
Euro Athletes Academy ("EAA", "we", "us") is a Swedish company operated by [JAMES & NEVERMANN ATHLETICS], org. no. [5593846255], contact: william@euroathletes.academy. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy, which we process in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
This policy covers our website (euroathletes.academy), our training services (Basics, Pro, Personal Training and Team Solutions), our athlete monitoring system (ams.euroathletes.academy), and our communications with you.
1. What data we collect
Account and profile data. When you sign up or complete an intake form we collect your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, height, weight, playing position, team, sport, training background, availability and training goals. Our intake forms also record your IP address and browser information for security purposes.
Payment data. Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not store your card details; we keep records of your subscription and purchases.
Training and monitoring data. If you consent to monitoring, we collect and process health-related data about you. This includes your answers to our wellness questionnaire (energy, sleep, motivation, soreness and stress), your session RPE (how hard a session felt) and session duration, and the training load metrics we calculate from them, such as acute and chronic workload and workload ratios. Depending on your tier, we may also process jump test results, strength records, heart rate variability readings, training journals and programme compliance data.
Team athletes only. If you are part of a club or team we work with under Team Solutions, we additionally process post-practice questionnaire responses, injury records (type, location, severity, mechanism and recovery status), return-to-play progress and your training availability status. This does not apply to individual online clients.
Website and marketing data. Like most websites we use cookies and similar technologies, including the Meta pixel, to understand how the site is used and to measure our advertising. If you are on our email list, we record how you interact with our emails. If you message us on Instagram, our replies may be handled through an automated tool.
2. Why we process your data, and on what legal basis
To deliver your training service (programmes, account management, payment, support): performance of our contract with you, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
To monitor your training and wellness. Wellness questionnaire answers, sRPE, injury and related monitoring data are health data under GDPR Article 9. We process them only with your explicit consent, Article 9(2)(a). We use this data to track your training load and readiness, present it to you and your coach in dashboards, and, for Personal Training clients, to adjust your programme.
Consent is voluntary. If you do not consent, or you withdraw consent later, you keep full access to your training programme; you simply will not be monitored and your dashboard will remain empty. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us, and withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before that point.
To send you relevant training guidance. With your consent, we use your wellness scores to send you training guidance emails matched to what your data shows, for example recovery advice when your scores are low. You can opt out of these at any time without affecting your service.
To market our services (newsletters, offers, advertising measurement): your consent or our legitimate interest in promoting our services, Article 6(1)(a) and (f). Every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link.
To meet legal obligations, such as bookkeeping and accounting rules: Article 6(1)(c).
We never use your individual monitoring data for marketing to third parties. Where we show what our monitoring system can do, for example in demonstrations for clubs, we use only team-level aggregated or synthetic data, never data that identifies you.
3. Athletes under 18
If you are under 18, we require the consent of a parent or guardian before we process your monitoring data. Parents or guardians can contact us at any time to review, correct or delete their child's data or withdraw consent.
4. Who we share your data with
We use trusted service providers who process data on our behalf under data processing agreements: TeamBuildr (training programme delivery), Supabase (database hosting, EU region), Vercel (application hosting), Stripe (payments), Mailchimp (email), ManyChat (Instagram messaging), Zapier (data synchronisation), Squarespace (website) and Meta (advertising).
If you train with a club under Team Solutions, the coaches and relevant staff of your club can see your monitoring data in the team dashboard, including availability and, where applicable, injury and return-to-play status.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it with anyone else except where the law requires it.
5. International transfers
Some of our providers are based in the United States. Where data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on Standard Contractual Clauses, together with appropriate safeguards.
6. How long we keep your data
When you close your account or your team's agreement with us ends, we delete your profile and monitoring data. If you withdraw consent to monitoring, we delete your monitoring data. We keep payment and invoice records for as long as Swedish bookkeeping law requires (currently seven years), and we keep your email address on our marketing list until you unsubscribe. We may retain fully anonymised, aggregated statistics that can no longer be linked to you.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access the data we hold about you, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw any consent you have given, at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email william@euroathletes.academy and we will respond within one month.
If you believe we are handling your data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY, imy.se) or the supervisory authority in your own country.
8. Security
Your data is stored in the EU with access controls, encrypted connections and row-level security restricting who can see what. Access to athlete monitoring data is limited to you, your coach and, for team athletes, your club's authorised staff.
9. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy we will notify you by email or through the service before they take effect. The current version is always available on this page.
